Offroad Racer and Champion Sara Price made her first Trophy Truck in the Chattanooga Whiskey Geiser Brothers Truck at the 2020 Mint 400.

Following a successful SCORE International campaign in the Trophy Truck Spec Class in 2019, with RPM Racing, Price made history by becoming the first ever woman to win the Championship.

“The Mint 400 is America’s most legendary Offroad Event in History! To be making my debut into the Chattanooga Whiskey Unlimited truck, running my childhood racing number 78, while racing alongside legends themselves and the best in our sport is something very monumental to me. Kellon Walch will be navigating for me and he himself is a very accomplished racer and one of the best navigators of all time. Our Team and Geiser Brothers will be pitting for us and I believe We have the total package to make history here and we will do our best to do just that!” said Price.

Sara paired up with world renown Navigator and Racer Kellon Walch. Walch brings years of experience to the table with several participations to Dakar, multiple championships in both offroad motorcycle and trucks and has navigated for Robby Gordon, Justin Matney, BJ Baldwin and AJ Jones.

‘’I was super stoked to get into the truck with Sara. I can’t say that about a lot of drivers. I know she has serious Moto/Bike skills that directly translate her into a smooth and smart truck driver and someone that I can trust! I’ve pre ran a lot of miles with her in Mexico and really appreciate her demeanor and love for the sport. I’ve also raced against her and know she is a fierce competitor! I think we will get along just fine in the truck! Looking forward to what kind of race we can put together!!!’’ said Walch

When it comes to racing, Chattanooga Whiskey and adventure motorsport is a natural fit.  Chattanooga Whiskey was born blazing their own trail, and Chattanooga as a town in Tennessee, is known for its adventurous spirit. They only use the highest quality ingredients and best techniques to produce the boldest flavors, and Trophy Truck racing is the best representation of that.

What Sara is doing in the racing industry is the embodiment of what Chattanooga Whiskey is doing in the spirits industry, so we are honored that she will be representing our brand in the Mint 400.” said Tim Piersant, Founder & CEO

The Mint 400 is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in America. Held annually in March, over 550 teams in 80+ classes complete for two days on a grueling 400 miles course in the desolate foothills of Las Vegas. The event draw 65 000 off-road enthusiasts from around the world each year, it’s said to be ‘’The Great American Off-Road Race!’’

Sara is one of the leaders of the women’s revolution in off-road racing! We are stoked have a lot of women racing with us at the Mint 400, but Sara is the only one contending for the overall win. She has showed that Women cannot only compete but they can win.’’ said Matt Martelli, Mint 400 CEO

Price kicked off her 2020 season at the notoriously difficult King of the Hammers event in her Polaris RZR Turbo-S for the 5thconsecutive year. The race combines desert racing speed with technical rock crawling challenges and draws competitors from across the world and from almost all motorsports discipline to Johnson Valley, California every year.
