Rosberg’s RXR Racing Announces New Sponsor

Unveiled as RXR’s Official Partner in a multiyear deal, Vulcan Energy join the championship leading team of RXR Racing in the inaugural series of Extreme E.

Vulcan have a clear synergy with the sustainability-focused racing series with the goal to become the world’s first dual lithium and renewable energy producer with net zero greenhouse emissions.

Backed by a team of world-renowned experts in chemistry, engineering and geology, Vulcan plans to harness renewable geothermal energy to drive lithium production for electric vehicle batteries, without using evaporation ponds, mining or fossil fuels. The RXR team have also been certified as carbon neutral and will be collaborating with Vulcan on steps to become a climate positive team.

Vulcan branding will be added to the team’s 400 KW (500 bhp) ODYSSEY 21 race car as well as the race suits of RXR’s two star drivers; three-time World Rallycross champion, Johan Kristoffersson and Australian Rally Champion Molly Taylor.
