Bio:
Jenson Button is one of Britain’s top Formula One drivers, arriving in 2000 with a seat in the Williams BMW, Jenson Button finished 8th in the Championship and has since become World Champion in 2009 with a striking performance with the Brawn GP team. He currently competes in the Japanese Super GTSeries driving a Honda NSX-GT for Team Kunimitsu, in which he won the title in 2018.
Button was born on 19 January 1980 in Frome, Somerset and brought up in nearby Vobster. He is the fourth child of South African Simone Lyons and former Rallycross driver John Button, who was well known in the UK.
Button enjoyed racing from an early age, racing his BMX bike with friends after school, he began karting at the Clay Pigeon Raceway at the age of eight, after his father bought him his first kart, and made an extraordinarily successful start.
