LAS VEGAS – Sept 2020:

The final race of the Best In The Desert 2020 series as well as the Adventure Series and Maxxis Triple Crown, the BlueWater Desert Challenge, has been given the go-ahead to run as scheduled on October 22-25, 2020 in Parker, Arizona.

The 23-mile loop race is open to all off-road vehicle classes and youth, including motorcycles, quads, UTVs, trucks, and cars, and is bound to be a challenging display of grit and determination. The well-loved three-day race, dubbed the “American Challenge,” is back after a three-year hiatus.

“We are excited to be able to finish the year off strong and in Parker, Arizona where we have so many friends. I want to thank the community of Parker, Jim and Dan Beaver, and most especially the Colorado River Indian Tribes for working with us to help make this event happen,” says Best In The Desert CMO, Bryan Folks. “When we started this year we had no idea we would face so many challenges but in the end, it looks like we are going to have one of our most successful seasons ever. A big thank you to the Best In The Desert staff for never giving up on this event.”

Organizing the BlueWater Desert Challenge was possible because of the overwhelming and absolute support from the Parker, Arizona community, and the Colorado River Indian Tribes. Part of the condition in being able to hold the event on tribal land is that all competitors must comply with face mask requirements and social distancing.

Race Operations Mgr. Jeff Phillips said, “We look forward to seeing everyone in Parker. We are working hard to put the best racecourse for racers, support crews, and spectators we possibly can. We need everyone’s support to pull this event off, as we are guests of the Colorado Indian Tribal Council. We are confident the off-road racing community will rise to the occasion and help us make this a successful event.”

The BlueWater Desert Challenge will determine the winners of the year-end Best In The Desert Series Class Championships, the all-new Adventure Series which started with the VT Construction Silver State 300 Presented by Polaris RZR, and the Maxxis Triple Crown.

$67,000 of Maxxis Triple Crown purse money, on top of regular Best In The Desert winning payouts and season bonuses, is on the line for BlueWater Desert Challenge champions.
